Rajnikanth starrer Kabali was released on July 22, 2016 and is smashing box-office records with its collection. Kabali is expected to cross Rs. 600 Crore figure.

Interestingly, Salman Khan starrer Sultan collected Rs. 550 Crore worldwide. Sultan was released on Ramadan Eid. Sultan had earned Rs. 100 Crore in its opening weekend while Kabali had crossed 110 Crore.

Producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu revealed that Kabali earned a whopping Rs 320 crore in the first 6 days itself.

Only time will tell if Kabali can beat the collections of Bahubali, thereby becoming the 3rd highest grossing Indian movie after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and PK.
