Pahlaj Nihalani was on Friday sacked as chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification in India (CBFC). According to a news channel, noted adman, song-writer and poet Prasoon Joshi is expected to take charge. Pahlaj's tenure was filled with controversies. He was even accused of leaking Udta Punjab because of his fight with the makers and charges that he was protecting a political party by banning that controversial movie.
