Nawazuddin's First Love 'Sunita Rajwar' Sues Him For Rs 2 Crore

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's first love” Sunita Rajwar has sued the actor for Rs. 2 Crore for tarnishing her image.

After his shocking revelations about his personal life in his memoir, An Ordinary Life, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was slammed by one of his many ex-girlfriends, Niharika Singh. Post her, his “first love” Sunita Rajwar has gone one step further. The TV personality, who, in a Facebook post, called out Nawaz for lying about why they broke up, has now sent him a legal notice. Sunita demands a compensation of Rs 2 crore for seeking to tarnish her image.

Sunita, who hasn't been in touch with the actor for many years and she stated, “I am taking legal action because the damage is already done and it’s irreversible.” Sunita has accused Nawaz of manipulating their relationship as a publicity stunt. According to the notice, Sunita has been wrongly portrayed as someone “who drove Nawaz to think of committing suicide”. It also clarifies that the part that she dumped him because he wasn’t successful is “a figment of his imagination”.

Sunita has demanded an unconditional apology from the actor. The notice has also been served to co-author Rituparna Chatterjee and the publishers of the book. It states that Sunita intends to use the money for charity. Sunita added, “the withdrawal of the memoir turned out to be a another gimmick as the book is still in circulation.”
