Mirzya is an upcoming Bollywood movie directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. After a long time, lyricist Gulzar has written the script for a hindi movie. Gulzar also happens to be the director's neighbour. Shankar Ehsaan Loy have composed the music for Mirzya.
Mirzya features Harshvardhan Kapoor (Sonam Kapoor's brother) and Saiyami Kher (not related to Anupam Kher, she is Shabana Azmi's relative) in the lead roles. Mirzya will be Harshavardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's debut Bollywood film.
Mirzya is an epic love story set in Rajasthan and is inspired by the folk tale of 'The Legend of Mirza - Sahiba'.
