Madhuri Dixit celebrated 14 years of Devdas by sharing her Dubsmash video with Varun Dhawan. She also shared a glimpse of her SYTYCD Grand Finale Performance. Watch it here.

Bollywood movie Devdas was released on July 12, 2002. It was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and featured Madhuri Dixit, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles.
The film also won 5 National Awards and 10 Filmfare Awards.

Devdas won ten awards at the 2002 Filmfare Awards. They were:

Best Film - Bharat Shah
Best Actor - Shahrukh Khan
Best Actress - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Best Director - Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Best Supporting Actress - Madhuri Dixit
Best Female Playback - Shreya Ghoshal and Kavita Krishnamurthy for "Dola Re Dola"
Best Cinematographer - Binod Pradhan
Best Art Direction - Nitin Chandrakant Desai
Best Choreography - Saroj Khan
Best Scene of the Year - Confrontation scene between Parvati and Chandramukhi.

Devdas was also India's official entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars in 2003 but it failed to make it to the top 5. It was also screened at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. Madhuri Dixit did not attend that but Aishwarya Rai's presence at Cannes in a yellow saree got a lotta attention. Since then, she has always attended the Cannes Film Festival.
