South Indian actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan has been admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Kamal Haasan fractured his leg after he tripped and fell from his office stairs in Chennai last night. Kamal fans need not worry as the actor is in a stable condition now and the preliminary tests reveal that the injury is only a minor one.

Kamal was supposed to attend the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) where he would be honored with a Lifetime Achievement award. Kamal is 61 years old and married to actress Sarika who happens to be his second wife. He was earlier married to Vani Ganapathy.
