Directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, known as VIP2, is a South Indian movie starring Dhanush and Kajol. The movie will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. The film was originally planned to release on 28 July 2017, coinciding with Dhanush's birthday, but was postponed to 11 August 2017.
Kajol is making a comeback in the Tamil movie industry, She was last seen in 1997 movie Minsara Kanavu opposite Arvind Swamy and Prabhudeva. The movie had super-hit music composed by A.R. Rahman, with songs like Aawara Bhawre, Ooh La La La and Chanda Re topping the charts back then.
Kajol is all excited about the release of VIP 2. She took to Instagram to share a video message urging her fans to watch the movie.
In the video, Kajol says, "Hey guys, so VIP 2 is finally releasing tomorrow and you really, really need to go and watch it. It is releasing world-wide and in Tamil tomorrow and in Hindi and Telugu on the 18th. Go watch it."
