Famous Hindi movie and TV Serial director Kundan Shah passed away at his residence on Friday night after suffering a heart attack. He was 69. Kundan Shah was best known for directing 1983 Bollywood comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and SRK starrer Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1993). His other work included TV series Nukkad and Wagle Ki Duniya.
He also directed Preity Zinta starrer Kya Kehna in 2000 and Dil Hai Tumhara in 2002. His last directorial venture was P Se PM Tak released in 2014. Kundan Shah won the National Film Award – Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro.
