David Dhawan's reboot of his 90s hit Judwaa has opened well at the box-office. Starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Tapsee Pannu, the movie took a very good start. Its Day 1 collections were close to Rs. 15 Crore, which is higher than Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal and the fourth biggest opening day of the year after Bahubali - The Conclusion, Tubelight and Raees.

The film also happens to be the highest openng day movie for Varun Dhawan beating the 14 crore nett plus of ABCD 2. The collections are expected to be better due to the long weekend.
