Bollywood's most anticipated movie of 2017 has been hit by the ongoing Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) strike.

This year's highly anticipated Bollywood movie 'Padmawati' may not hit the screens as scheduled if the ongoing Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) strike prolongs. Earlier the movie was hit by vandalism and goons during the initial part of the movie's shoot. After the mob attack in Jaipur and the vandalism incident in Kolhapur, the SLB cannot afford another setback as this will lead to a delay in the scheduled release date of the movie.

Padmawati is scheduled for release on November 11, 2017. The film may now be delayed by a week or two.

The strike is now being supported by Saroj Khan, Sham Kaushal and Binod Pradhan. FWICE demands for medical insurance and 8 hour shift. Though few members of FWICE are on an indefinite hunger strike, some officials met up with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday to discuss the matter.
