Deepika Padukone appeared on American talk show "The Ellen De Generes Show" on January 18, 2017. Deepika Padukone talked about choosing an acting career over Badminton. Ellen stated that she loved this indoor game and asked Deepika if she wanted to follow her Dad's footsteps and become a Badminton player. Deepika said that she wanted to be an actor and even asked for Rs. 10,000 from her parents to make her portfolio.

Deepika stated that she had auditioned for Fast and Furious 7 a few years ago but that didn't work out, but her chemistry with Vin Diesel was noticed and last year she got a call from Paramount asking her fly down to the USA for XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.

Deepika was asked if she was romantically linked with Vin Diesel. Deepika stated that it is all in her head that she lives with Vin Diesel and that they have babies together. She even asked Ellen De Generes to ask Vin Diesel if he thinks the same about her. When Ellen asked for Vin Diesel's number, Deepika wittily gave her the 911 number.

We wonder if everything is okay between Deepiika and Ranveer Singh. Ranveer Singh has given a flop movie Befikre recently and his acting career is quite in the dumps if we take out SLB movies from his filmography. We all agree that Deepika is a far bigger star than Ranveer Singh this time and won't mind if she dates Vin Diesel. They make a great pair.
