Deepika Padukone is shooting for Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's next movie. The first look of Deepika's character from the upcoming movie is out and Deepika is just unrecognizable.

Bollywood beauty Deepka Padukine was snapped shooting for a secret project with the Iranian director at Dhobi Ghaat in Mumbai last week. Majidi is known for his award-winning movies like The Color of Paradise and Muhammad.

In a DNA report, the casting director of the film was quoted as saying, “It is an Indian story and will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan and Kashmir. It will take off towards the year-end or early 2017 and is a signature Majidi film with new takes on relationships and emotional quotients.”

Deepika will also start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmawati. Padmawati is scheduled for late 2017 release. She plays the lead role opposite Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
