Udta Punjab is a Bollywood Crime based Thriller produced by Balaji Motion Pictures & Phantom Films.
It stars Shahid Kapoor, his ex Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh & Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

The Censor Board is in no mood to clear Udta Punjab because of excessive use of profanity in its dialogues and drug consumption. Udta Punjab now needs to accept cuts so as to get clearance from the Censor Board.

The producers have reportedly decided to approach the ministry of information and broadcasting for a solution.
