Monsoon Rains have finally arrived in Mumbai. Rainy season in Mumbai is quite unique for it rains and rains and rains all the time and you barely get to see the sun for days. Rains in Mumbai generally starts in May/June and last till August/September. Bollywood Twitterati is happy but the MeT Dept. says these are pre-monsoon showers and it will take a few more days for the Monsoon to hit Mumbai. Nonetheless, Bollywood is happy and this is how they greeted the first monsoon showers.

Bollywood's dancing queen Madhuri Dixit took it to twitter first after hearing the Monsoon thunder. She tweted "I hear thunder, I hear thunder... Finally it rains in Mumbai.."

Rishi Kapoor who was quite angry over the rain gods until a few days ago heaved a sigh of relief with the rains hitting Mumbai. He tweeted "rains where are you?" a few days ago seemed to be quite happy with the arrival of rains. He tweeted "Yes!Mumbai gets its rains,though light.Clouds cover the harsh Sun and hope humidity relents too. Btw,rains come,the Cable TV goes kaput! Lol "

Varun Dhawan who has now changed his handle to Varun 'Junaid' Dhawan (he plays the role of Junaid in his upcoming movie) also tweeted about the first showers in Mumbai. He tweeted "Rains are finally here. The parched Mother Earth finally gets some water from the Lord"

The best tweet came from Dino Morea who recorded a small clip of the first monsoon rain and posted it on Twitter. He stated " Yeh toh baarish ho rahi hai, it's raining its raining. "

Soha Ali Khan wasn't far behind. While Dino posted a video, Soha posted her cute photograph.
