On June 12, 2016 at 2:02 AM, an American Born Gunman 'Omar Mateen' who pledged ISIS allegiance gunned down 50 people from the LGBT Community at a Gay Nightclub (Pulse) in Orlando, USA. This is the deadliest terror attack in the United States since 9/11.

According to CNN, the 29 year old Gunman was interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and 2014 but was not found to be a threat. Mateen called 911 during the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS and mentioned the Boston Marathon bombers, according to a U.S. official. Mateen was shot and killed by the Orlando Police. Mateen's ex-wife said she thinks Mateen was mentally ill. Mateen's parents, who are from Afghanistan, said Mateen was extremely furious after seeing two men kiss in Miami, but they didn't consider him religious and were unaware of his connection with the ISIS.
