The picture shows Salman’s stuntman character entering the circus arena through a ‘ring of fire’. It was previously reported that the first schedule of the film will be a circus sequence and will be shot with Salman and Disha Patani. A lavish set has been erected in Mumbai’s Filmistan Studios on the lines of Indian-Russian circus-like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. The circus sequence is Salman and Disha’s introduction in the film. Disha plays a trapeze artist in the film and has been prepping up for her role with backflips and somersaults.
Bharat is an official remake of the South Korean film Ode To My Father. Bharat also stars Tabu, Sunil Grover, Aasif Sheikh and Jackie Shroff. Nora Fatehi too joined the film’s star cast recently. Salman is also said to sport five different looks in the film as his character ages through the film.
Bharat is touted as the comeback film of Priyanka Chopra who is returning to Bollywood after a gap of three years. She is reuniting with Salman after almost a decade and for that reason also the audience’s interest in the film is paramount.
Salman’s last two films with Zafar have been extremely successful. Both Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai made more than Rs 550 crore worldwide.
