The year was filled with happiness for Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Recently, Anushka Sharma married Virat Kohli. After marriage, she got the best gift PETA 2017 award. PETA has been named the Person of the Year.

Anushka Sharma is a supporter of animal rights. Her work is a bit complicated said Sachin Banghera, Associate Director of Celebrity and Public Relations at PETA India. PETA said in its statement that the actress has raised her voice against the ban on atrocities done on the animals in Mumbai on her social media account like Twitter.

Before Anushka Sharma, the title was earlier received by Dr Shashi Tharoor, Former supreme court judge KS Radhakrishnan Panikkar and Bollywood actors Hema Malini, R Madhavan, Jacqueline Fernandes and Kapil Sharma.

It is noteworthy that Anushka has recently mentioned the post related to horses on the social media, who used to pull passengers without adequate comfort and food.
