Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Rajkummar Rao received the highest number of votes on PetaIndia.com.

PETA's Hottest Vegetarian Celebrities contest got over online where hundreds and thousands of Bollywood fans voted for their favorite celebrities who are pure vegetarians. There was a strong competition with Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Vidyut Jammwal, Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sunny Leone in the list of nominees for hottest vegetarian celebs.

Rajkummar Rao and Alia Bhatt received the most number of votes for they made choosing plant-based foods more popular than ever. “Alia Bhatt and Rajkummar Rao are fit, hot, and compassionate, and they’re setting a great example for their fans and millions of other people who want to fight climate change with their forks,” says Sachin Bangera, PETA’s associate director of celebrity and public relations. “Both of PETA’s winners prove that there’s nothing sexier than compassion towards animals, which these celebrities show every time that they sit down for a meal.”

PETA – whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat” – selected the winners based on several factors, including vote count. For more information, please visit the contest page at PETAIndia.com.
