Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has praised constable Pawan Tayde for his presence of mind. His quick thinking and action saved the life of a woman at Lonavala Railway Station.

The incident took place on Monday when Kakinada Express passing from Pune to Mumbai was leaving the Lonavala Railway Station. The entire incident was captured on the station’s CCTV.

The CCTV footage shows a female commuter losing her balance while jumping off a train as it leaves the Lonavala Railway Station. The lady falls off the train and gets partially stuck in the gap between the platform and the moving train. She may have lost her life had the constable not come to her rescue immediately.
