Karan Johar has a special bonding with SRK and Kajol. His popular movies featured SRK in lead roles, be it Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham or Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. All these movies did extremely well at the box office barring Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna which also featured Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role.

Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil features Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in the lead roles, but Karan has confirmed that Shahrukh Khan will have a special role in the movie. Going by the track record, we expect Kajol to appear in a song or scene as well.

Shahrukh Khan has heard 3 songs of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and he found them absolutely amazong. SRK stated in a recent press conference " I have heard the title track and it is one of the nicest ballets. It is fantastic."

In a recent interview with a webloid, Karan also shared his excitement about working with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, reports the Express Tribune.

“I have to say that I was most excited working with Fawad who has a very special role. It’s a special appearance in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. But it’s a very strong role, a very pivotal role. His energy is indispensable to the film. I am so glad that he agreed very graciously to be a part of the film. In fact, it was wonderful of him to say yes because it was a special appearance. It’s very important for his character to connect and be a part of the journey for you to kind of understand the emotional existence of the film,” said the ace director.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is scheduled to release on October 28, 2016.
