Real-life couple Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Sengupta, who had earlier acted together in TV shows like "Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam" and "Doli Saja Ke", will co-star in a film about the lockdown.

The film titled "Choices" was shot completely during the lockdown. The dark humour showcases the relationship between a couple suddenly challenged under lockdown due to a virus ready to test their marriage in every way.

"It's been a very different experience to work with Indraneil after quite a few years as we've both grown as actors since we last worked. Although we've had our share of disagreements, ups and downs, there has also been an immense amount of comfort to have your husband as your co-star. We've been able to give each other positive feedback as well as be very critical about our performances, which has probably helped us do a better job," said Barkha.

To which Indraneil added: "It can be a little daunting to work with such a powerful actor as I can't match up to her efficiency. In terms of this film, she has taken care of the cinematography much more efficiently than I have. She has a much steadier hand, she is a keen and fast learner and I foresee a future director in her. I am glad I got to work with her as 80 percent of the workload was handled by her."

The film is directed by husband-wife duo, Damini, and Raaj Shetty.

Speaking of casting the couple, Damini said: "Casting is one of the most important elements of making a film. If it goes well it can enhance a film, if it goes wrong it can horribly destroy a film, so it was mandatory to find the right cast and not an easy task."

"We were eagerly looking for an intelligent couple who were not only a pair of good actors but who were passionate about the project and also understood the entire medium. We happened to see a web-series starring Indraneil and it came as an inspiration that they would be the perfect couple. We weren't sure if they would be interested but to our surprise, they were more than enthusiastic and came aboard," she added.
