Kashyap, who is known for directing films as "Black Friday", "Gangs Of Wasseypur", "Dev.D" and "Mukkabaaz" among many others, took to Instagram Stories to share a picture where he can be seen engaged in a gruelling workout session, drenched in sweat.

"Freedom from lethargy," he wrote on the picture.

Kashyap also posted a photograph where he hugs actor Roshan Mathew, from the set of his new digital film, "Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai".

"Last day hug to this MALLU-MAN.. by the time he got the hug he had been my housemate for three months, 2. He did his best to get the "Nerungi" Lungi dance and almost got it 3. Acting husband to his "Bro", who was always bullying him 4.5. However hard he tried, he just couldn't bully back @saiyami," he wrote.

Calling Roshan and actress Saiyami Kher brilliant, Kashyap wrote: "Always questioning me and not getting any answers ever. Brilliant actor @roshan.matthew who along with @saiyami always wasted an extra take they asked for, after having got it right.

"We always chose their "last but one" take whenever they did long scenes together. All kinds of loveable Mr. Matthew pic by @khamkhaphotoartist #chokedpaisaboltahai streaming on @netflix_in."
