Actress Sneha Wagh says "Jyoti", the women-centric show where she made an impact essaying the title role from 2009-2010, is still very close to her.
The show based on the life of Jyoti, her daily struggle to make ends meet, and her sacrifices, dreams and ambitions while being the only earning member in her family.
"I come from a middle-class family myself and identified with the character of Jyoti due to a lot of commonalities like taking up responsibilities of her home. Jyoti, who is the elder daughter, is ambitious, responsible, grounded and very relatable," said Sneha.
"This show is very close to me as it helps me look back at both my fight and how I have grown through the years," she added.
Sriti Jha, Srinidhi Shetty and Sameer Sharma also play pivotal roles in the show, which is seeing a rerun on Dangal TV.
