This Independence Day, the stalwarts of Indian entertainment industry come together to spread a message of love and unity. Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonu Nigam, Padmini Kolhapure, Kailash Kher, Sonakshi Sinha, Alka Yagnik, Jannat Zubair, Siddhanth Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Shabbir Kumar, Anil Aggarwal, Ankit Tiwari and Shruti Haasan have sung this patriotic number in their own voice.

The music has been directed by Dilshaad Shabbir Shaikh who has an impressive repertoire and has worked with the music maestro AR Rahman. Speaking about the thought behind Hum Hindustani, Dilshaad says, “By asking all the legends of the industry to come together, we want to give this message that even though these are tough times, we will always support each other and live in a community driven by love and unity. Everybody was more than willing to participate and that tells us so much about the spirit of our industry.”

The beautiful lyrics of Hum Hindustani are penned by Kashish Kumar and the song is currently streaming on Dhamaka Records.
