Actor Karan Jotwani will be seen playing a simple character, Imtiaz Alkazi, in the upcoming web series "Bebaakee". He says it has been a challenge to essay the role.
"I won't deny the fact that it was not difficult. It was a challenge in itself to play a very simplistic character that doesn't have a lot of complexities," he said.
"Sometimes my expressions would go overboard and the director would tell me 'slow down, you are supposed to be a good-hearted and a simple person, who is loved by everyone. I think that was the challenging part, but again it's been a great experience so far. We have some more to shoot, so excited for that as well," he added.
Imtiaz Alkazi is a man who strives to be a perfect son, brother, friend and a professional. He is generous, caring, blunt, honest, practical and sincere, and exemplifies each of these qualities in his work and relationships. He loves and respects his parents, his siblings, and tries to keep the bad habits of his best friend Sufiyaan (Kushal Tandon) in check by being a friend in need.
"Bebaakee" will soon stream on ALTBalaji and ZEE5.
