The Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry launched an Indian National Anthem video in sign language, featuring Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan along with physically challenged children.
The 3.35-minute Sign Language Indian National Anthem video is directed by Govind Nihalani. The video features Big B and special children performing the Indian National Anthem in sign language, with the Red Fort in the background.
Speaking on the occasion here, Minister of State for HRD Mahendra Nath Pandey, said, “The government addressed the physically challeged “divyang” and not “viklang” to ensure there was no distinction.” The Minister of state also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his call for the inclusion of “divyangjan” in the country’s development.
