Composer Vayu has written, sung and composed "Mummy", which is a heartfelt ode to the bond between mothers and their children.

Vayu's last song "Baatein karo" was widely appreciated for its composition and how the lyrics perfectly resonated with the current scenario where people are locked down in their homes and are starting to have a conversation with their loved ones.

Now the same team - Vayu along with Vaibhav Pani (producer) and Abhishek Gautam (mixing engineer) is back with another emotional song "Mummy", just in time for Mother's Day.

The lyrics of "Mummy" are a reminder that it's fine to let go and share our worries with our one source of everlasting, unwavering love - our mothers.

"Whenever we get hurt, 99 times out of 100, we call out 'mummy!' Our mothers have always been a strong source of strength and comfort to us," he said.

"However, much we might lie to them that we're fine and capable of handling our own troubles, our mothers always know when it hurts us the most and they're always there for us. 'Mummy' is an attempt to capture that emotion," said Vayu, best known for his quirky Bollywood dance numbers like "Banno" and "Beat pe booty".
