"Sasural Simar Ka" actor Manish Raisinghan is excited about his first song as a rapper.

The song, "Nikle toh nikal logey", has been performed by singer Kunal Ganjawala and Geet Sagar, with Manish pitching in as a guest rapper.

"When we were in the process of building this song, I got tempted as rapping was one of the many things on my bucket list," said Manish.

The Hindi lyrics have been penned by Geet Sagar and English by Kunal. The song has been directed by Anup Bhat.

"I requested Geet and Anup. They didn't allow me but actually trained me how to rap. You see the problem was just not me not able to remember the lyrics, but it was as fundamental as understanding the tempo. They worked hard so did I. We lost 3 days in the bargain but the fruit is sweet. It's called 'Nikle toh nikal logey' -- my first rap ever," said Manish.

The song emphasises on staying indoors, and that even though unlock 1.0 has happened, the idea is to take precautions and not go out unless absolutely necessary.

Kunal said: "I thought the idea behind the video was really apt for the time of the lockdown and all the lyrics and acting were moving single pointedly towards the same."

The music and its video were made during the lockdown from the artistes' respective homes, adhering to quarantine guidelines.

The music video will be released digitally on June 24.
