The controversial film Padmavat which is made on a 180 Crore budget will still remain banned in at least 4 states.
Even after the producers changed the name to Padmavat from Padmavati and making many other changes on the recommendation of the Censor Board, the film faces many more challenges in its release.
The film which was earlier going to be released on December 1st has been postponed until January 25.
There are reports that Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan governments have already put a ban on the screening of the movie. Even the Goa police have asked their government to not let it release.
The producers of Padmaavat, approached the Supreme Court challenging the ban on its screening in these states.
