- Madhuri was paid a salary of Rs. 27,535,729 for the role of Nisha which was quite a high fee during the time.
- Hum Aapke Hain Koun was the first movie to cross Rs. 1 billion collection.
- 'Didi Tera Devar' emerged as the most popular wedding number of the season. But very few know that the song is inspired by 'Saare Nabian'. The song 'Saare Nabian' was sung by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
- Hum Aapke Hain Koun was shot extensively in Ooty.
- In Bellevue theater, London, the film ran successfully for 50 weeks, it was booked only for 3 weeks as it was going to get renovated, but seeing the collection of the movie, they postponed the renovation plan.
- M.F. Hussain, the legendary painter loved the film so much that he watched it more than 85 times.
- The film was dubbed in Telugu and released as Premalayam.
